Bokkyun Noh, Director and Doctor of S one Plastic Surgery Institute, draws attention due to ‘Hallyu (Korean wave) plastic surgery propagation’ and ‘sensitive operation’. Director Noh said, “One of concern on plastic surgery is the time to cool down the swelling. If great damage occurred on the tissue during the surgery or if the internal organization was exposed too long, then the swelling period will be longer, therefore, it is very important to get precise procedure and short surgery period.”

Dr Noh’s skills and expertise has been verified by many patients due to ‘fast recovery rate’. There is an episode. Around 23 plastic surgeons from main hospitals in China visited S one Plastic Surgery Institute last December. The group tour of the Chinese plastic surgeons was very unusual but they closely watched the process of eye and nose surgery done by Dr. Noh and they were surprised by his ‘fast and good’ skill.

One of Dr. Noh’s expertises is eye surgery by using Muller's Muscle-Levator. This procedure, lifting the upper eyelid with Levator Palpebrae Superioris Muscle, was introduced by Japanese doctor at Eye Surgery Symposium in 2004. Since then, it started to be modified and widely used in cosmetic surgery area. In 2006, Dr. Noh visited Saijo Clinic in Japan and learned this procedure.

The “complete nose plastic surgery’ is also well-known, which straightens the tilted nose and cares the inner health. Many of the patients appealed the tilted nose or functional problem of breathing discomfort. Dr. Noh pointed that, “If doctors did not have sufficient communication during the nose surgery or if doctors from different fields operate on one person’s nose, then it might reduce the overall insight.”
